Professional basketball Seoul Samsung has simultaneously recruited free agents Choi Hyun-min (34) and Choi St. Mary (30).

“The club has signed FA Choi Hyun-min and Choi St. Mary’s,” Samsung said on Tuesday afternoon. According to the club, the contract lasts three years. It signed a contract with Choi for 250 million won (about 50 million won in incentives) and 210 million won (about 42 million won in incentives) in total.

“Choi is a resourceful forward who can play both No. 3 and No. 4. He boasts robust three-point shooting capability, and will strengthen the forward team through scoring goals and hustling defense,” the club said.

“Choi St. Mary’s is a player who has strength in breaking through and defending with high speed,” he added, “We expect to revitalize the guards with active rebound participation and high energy.”

Choi Hyun-min was nominated by Anyang KGC (currently Anyang Jeonggwanjang) as the fourth pick in the first round in 2012, and recorded an average success rate of 5.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 432 KBL games.

Choi St. Mary’s was nominated by Wonju Dongbu (currently Wonju DB) as the seventh pick in the first round in 2016, and recorded an average success rate of 3.7 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists in 220 KBL games.
