Marco Verratti could be on his way out of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

“Manchester United and Bayern Munich are interested in signing PSG midfielder Verratti,” French outlet Get French Football reported on Tuesday.

The Italian international made his professional debut for Pescara Calcio in 2008 at the age of 16. Initially playing as an attacking midfielder, Verratti’s potential was unleashed when he dropped to central midfield in the 2011-12 season. His nine assists in 31 league games in Serie B earned him interest from a number of clubs.

Verratti chose PSG. In the summer of 2012, he signed a five-year contract with PSG to take on a new challenge. It was an upward trajectory. Verratti gradually took his chances, gained experience, and gradually gained the upper hand in the competition for a starting spot. He is the heart of PSG’s midfield. His ability to break down pressure and his concise passing made him a vital link in the offense.

In short, he is PSG’s helmsman. Often deployed in the third line, Verratti receives the ball from the back and passes it forward to open up the team’s attack. With his wide range of vision, stable ball possession, and killer passes, he’s been a key part of PSG’s ball movement. In his 416 games with PSG, he has won 30 trophies, including nine Ligue 1 titles.

PSG also saw Verratti as the heart of their midfield. They offered him a new contract last December, extending it until 2026. However, after the end of this season, he received interest from various clubs. Among them were two Saudi clubs. Al Hilal and Al Ahli are on the radar.

Al Hilal have been one of the teams spending astronomical amounts of money this season, signing some of the biggest names in Europe. They’ve already added the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Leandro Neves, and Malcom. On the 17th, they added Neymar to their roster. A €30 million offer has already been rejected, and a €40 million offer hasn’t swayed PSG.

Al Ahly are also in a strong position. In addition to Riyad Mahrez, they’ve added Roberto Firmino, Edouard Mendy, Alain Saint-Maximin and Omer 카지노 Demirah this summer. Verratti has personal agreements with both clubs, but is still at PSG after a stalemate over a transfer fee.

However, he has been left out of the squad. Verratti has been left out of the squad for both of the club’s opening two league games, effectively signaling that a move is imminent. That’s why Manchester United and Munich have entered the race to sign him.

First, the Red Devils bolstered their midfield this summer with the signing of Mason Mount, but their defense is a major problem. The combination of Bruno Fernandez, Mount, and Casemiro leaves a lot of space in the middle. This is why the club will be looking to strengthen their defense with the addition of Verratti.

Munich is Thomas Tuchel’s favorite team. The Bavarians have Josua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, and Konrad Reimer in their front three. However, all three players are vulnerable to strong opposition pressure and struggle in the buildup. Therefore, Tuchel is looking for a new midfielder who can break the pressure.
