The NC defeated the KIA Tigers 18-3 in the 14th game of the regular season of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at NC Park in Changwon on April 28.
It was the league’s highest-scoring win this season.
NC finished the four-game series with a 2-2 record, including a doubleheader against KIA.
The team reached the 70-win plateau for the season (57 L, 2 T).
It was the first time in three years that NC reached 70 wins after winning the 2020 regular season title (83 W, 55 L, 6 D).

Park grounded out to second base, but Son As-seob, the runner at third, was thrown out at home. It was a reckless play, but Martin followed with a single to left to tie the game at 1-1.
