South Korea’s Im Hyang Lee has moved into contention for the title at the Buick Shanghai on the Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour. Lee carded six birdies and one bogey for a 5-under 67 in the third round of the tournament on Thursday at the par-72 Qizhong Garden Golf Club in Shanghai, China .Lee, who was tied for 14th the day before, is tied for fourth at 10-under-par 206. She is two strokes behind co-leaders Eunjae In (USA) and Maya Stark (both 12-under 204).

Lee joined the LPGA Tour in 2012 and has two career victories, but hasn’t won since the 2017 Ladies Scottish Open. Lee opened with five birdies on the front nine and was one shot off the lead at the par-5 13th hole. However, a bogey at the 17th (par-5) dropped him back to two strokes off the lead .Danielle Kang (USA), who is looking for her third straight victory in the event, dropped one stroke and is tied for ninth (8-under 208).
