Kim Min-jae, who took over as captain of the national soccer team from Son Heung-min, led South Korea to a clean sheet against Tunisia.
South Korea defeated Tunisia 4-0 in an exhibition match at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Sept. 13.
Son Heung-min was absent from the match against Tunisia, and Kim Min-jae took his place as captain to lead the team.
In full-time action, Kim not only kept a clean sheet, but also drove a wedge into the game with an own goal.
Kim attempted a header off a corner kick in the 22nd minute of the second half, and his shot deflected off Tunisian defender Meria and into the back of the net.
In the match against Tunisia, Kim not only showed stable defense by dominating the opposing attackers, but also created several scenes of dribble breaks and fast breaks after blocking the opposing attack.
