The Canadian content aggregator and iGaming title Bragg Gaming Group’s B2B vendors are currently operating live in the regulated online casino market in Ontario. With the launch of the new system, we have started a distribution agreement with Casino 888, and the content is currently being operated live with the operator for eligible Ontario residents to enjoy online or via mobile.
The provincial open and competitive iGaming market was introduced as a way to eliminate the grey market and maintain revenue within the province. Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission is the main regulator of the scheme, and it approved Bragg Gaming Group as a gaming-related supplier in early March this year. In addition, more than 25 operators have also been greenlit to sign up.
The deal between 888casino and Bragg Gaming Group will provide exclusive game titles to aggregators’ premium portfolio. This includes fan-favorite Egyptian magic, the debut title of Atomic Slot Lab, the provider’s in-house studio. It will be available live from April 4, 2022, and there are other games specifically selected for the local iGaming market.
AGCO licensed the game provider in early March of this year, and has since gone to great lengths to ensure compliance with all regulatory approvals. Now, when the market is active and operational, the company is eager to bring its outstanding content to the market to the growing number of operators in the province.
Chris Looney, chief commercial officer of iGaming Aggregator, shared that sellers enjoy close relationships because they work together in 888 casinos and several different markets. He added that the company’s team has done a tremendous job of improving its global influence and relationship with casino operators known for their Tier 1 gaming platforms.
Talya Benyamini, vice president of B2C Casino 888, said the operator was very excited to collaborate with a Canadian game provider on the latter’s home turf. She is confident that the two companies will provide the highest quality content to Ontario’s player base. According to her, the market is an attractive long-term growth opportunity for operators, which is boosted by the provider’s products.
Since AGCO has licensed more than 25 operators in the state, online gamblers will have a lot of variety when playing online or betting on sports online. Some famous brands, such as Penn National Gaming’s The Score, are on the list. The company’s first sportsbook app is now available for Ontarians to play.
In addition to the score, Fanduel has also obtained a license from AGCO to operate on the marketplace. The company has integrated sportsbooks and standalone casino apps that are currently located in the provinces.
