Chris Davies has decided to stay at Tottenham.
Recently, Davies had been linked with a move to Swansea City.

The Swans, who are familiar to Korean fans as a team where Ki Sung-yueng played in the past, have yet to win promotion to the Premier League (PL) since being relegated to the English Championship (second division) in 2017-18.
In 2019-20 and 2020-21, the Swans made the promotion playoffs, which gave some hope, but their last two seasons have been mid-table, and they haven’t even challenged for promotion.
In desperation, Swansea appointed a new manager, Michael Duff, ahead of the 2023-24 season.

However, it appears to be the wrong choice. The Swans now have to worry about relegation to League One (the third tier) instead of mid-table.
In early December, when the Swans made their first attempt to sack Duff and bring in Davies, they were still in 18th place. 토토사이트

The Swans are still in 18th place, just five points above the relegation zone.
The appointment of Davies was an attempt to turn things around.

Davies originally worked with Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers when he was at Swansea.

It was only after Rodgers was sacked at Leicester City that he went out on his own.

Working under Postecoglou, Davies is said to have been instrumental in drawing up the team’s tactical framework.
Davies’ departure would leave a huge void in the coaching staff.

However, Davies has chosen Tottenham.

Alesdair Gold, a journalist who works for Football London and is familiar with Tottenham’s situation, said on July 17 (KST), “It’s good news for Postecoglou that Davies has decided to stay at Tottenham.

Davies has made a great impression behind the scenes.

It will take something special to convince him to leave Tottenham, as he has enjoyed working with Postecoglou.”
