Choi Hong-seok, former national men’s volleyball team member, passed away. He was 35 years old.

His deceased funeral was set up in room 204 of the Incheon Citizen Funeral Home in Sungui-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon. His funeral will be held at 1pm on the 11th.

Choi Hong-seok, a graduate of Kyonggi University, was selected by Dream Six (now Woori Card) as the first pick in the first round of the 2011-2012 season rookie draft. 

He worked for Woori Card until the 2017-2018 season and transferred to Korea Electric Power Corporation through a trade in the 2018-2019 season. 바카라사이트닷컴

In the 2019-2020 season, he made a new home at OK Savings Bank (now OK Financial Group) through another trade. 

He continued his active career until the 2021-2022 season and then retired.

Choi Hong-seok won the Rookie of the Year Award in the 2011-2012 season. In the 2013-2014 season, he won the second round MVP. 

He won the 2014 KOVO Cup MIP and the 2015 KOVO Cup MVP.He also wore the Taegeuk symbol. 

He has been to the 2009 Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship, the 2010 AVC Cup, and the 2011 World League and Asian Championship national teams.

Choi Hong-seok played in 331 games over a total of 11 seasons in the V-League, scoring 3,383 points

with an attack success rate of 47.78% and a receiving efficiency of 33.42%.

After his retirement, he briefly worked as a commentator for SBS Sports Volleyball.
