Mainz’s Lee Jae-sung and Hong Hyun-seok started side-by-side against Freiburg in the German Bundesliga.
Mainz drew 0-0 away to SC Freiburg in the ninth round of the 2024-2025 Bundesliga at the Europa-Park Stadion in Freiburg, Germany, on Wednesday (Sept. 3).
Mainz, who have drawn two and lost one of their last three matches since their victory over FC St. Pauli on Sept. 6, are currently 13th in the league with two wins, four draws and three losses.
Lee Jae-sung started and played the entire match on the left wing, where he created a few chances but was unable to register an offensive point.
In the fifth minute of the second half,
Lee Jae-sung sent a high ball into the opponent’s penalty area to Anthony Cassi. Cassi attempted a left-footed mid-range shot, 파워볼사이트 but it was straight at the opposing goalkeeper and missed the target.
Lee Jae-sung continued the attack in the 14th minute of the second half when he battled with the opposing defense to save a short pass that came to him on the counterattack. Hong Hyun-seok came on for Nadim Amiri in the 29th minute of the second half. He lasted about 16 minutes but didn’t create anything of note.
After starting the first three games after joining Mainz this summer, Hong has since been used as a substitute and has been on the bench for the last one.
