The 2024 KBO Rookie Draft will be played in a full-scale draft method. Nominations were made from the first round to the 11th round, followed by the Hanwha Eagles, Doosan Bears, Lotte Giants, Samsung Lions, NC Dinos, KIA Tigers-kt wiz-LG Twins, Kiwoom Heroes-SSG Landers in the reverse order of the club’s ranking in 2023.
Kiwoom, which was transferred through the previous trade under the rules that allowed the club to exchange the nomination rights for players next year, will exercise the nomination rights of LG, KIA, and Samsung, respectively, and NC will exercise the nomination rights of Hanwha in the seventh round.
The honor of the first overall ranking went to Hwang Joon-seo, the left-handed largest fish, and Kim Taek-yeon, the right-handed largest fish, the right-handed largest fish. The first round nominations were then completed one after another. In the first round, Park Ji-hwan, the only three advertisement infielder, was selected as the fielder. Lee Seung-min was also compared to Lee Jung-hoo, who established himself as the KBO League’s top star as the son of Lee Jong-beom. SSG strengthened the outfield depth by selecting Lee Seung-min, who has excellent batting potential like his father, in the second round.
