Tottenham Hotspur are not letting go of ‘Captain Son’.
According to a report by English media outlet Football London on Wednesday, Tottenham will hold contract talks with Son Heung-min, whose contract expires in the summer of 2024.

The Spurs hierarchy, including head coach Enze Postecoglou, have labeled Son as a “must have” player and have made it a point to re-sign him.
“Tottenham will not risk letting Son leave like they did with Harry Kane this year,” the outlet said, citing his performances this season.

Son was born in 1992 and is in his early 30s, but the new contract makes it clear that Tottenham are determined not to let go of their top star.
Son is currently Tottenham’s biggest star and captain.

He became the face of the team when Kane left for German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window. 토토사이트

Kane’s departure left many Tottenham fans heartbroken, and Son has filled the void admirably.
He is also Tottenham’s highest paid player.

His weekly salary is reportedly £190,000 ($314,000).

This puts him just ahead of Ivan Perisic (£170,000) and James Maddison (£160,000).
The record alone shows how important Son is to Tottenham.

He has played in a Tottenham shirt for a total of nine seasons since joining the club in 2015.

He has scored 113 goals and provided 56 assists in 284 appearances in the English Premier League alone.

If you include his UEFA club competitions, his stats rise to 24 goals in 61 games.

He’s also sixth on Tottenham’s all-time goalscoring list.
This season, Son has been equally impressive.

We’ve only played 16 games, but he’s already scored 10 goals in the Premier League, marking his eighth consecutive season of double-digit goals.

There’s no reason why Spurs shouldn’t choose to re-sign him.
Son”s loyalty to Tottenham is well known to be very strong.

He is very happy with Spurs and his life in London, so it shouldn’t be hard for him to decide to stay.
He is already considered a Tottenham legend.

If he signs a new contract and plays for more than 10 seasons, he will undoubtedly become a Spurs legend.
