He also mentioned the opening game of the ML against the San Diego Padres at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul for two days from March 20.
Ohtani stressed that he is confident that he can play in the opening game of Seoul. Ohtani is expected to play as the designated hitter in the opening game of Seoul.

I know how to rehabilitate,” Ohtani said, dismissing concerns over his physical condition. Ohtani also underwent Tommy John surgery in 2018.
Meanwhile, pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who joined the Los Angeles Dodgers along with Ohtani, threw his first bullpen session. According to MLB.COM, Yamamoto threw about 20 to 25 pitches.
