Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) said it is supplying some of its technology to the Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort, a tourist complex with foreigner-only casinos in Incheon, South Korea.

CPI, a Crane NXT Co business, said in a press release that it would supply SC Advance note verifiers (pictured) and Easyrax Web software “to all 550 units on the casino floor” at Mohegan Inspire.

Developed by the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, which trades under Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, the property launched its out-of-game amenities in late November and then opened its casino in early February.

CPI said its SC Advance Note Verifier has “a 98% first pass acceptance rate and a best-in-class jam rate for both street-grade cash and TITO tickets” and “ensures a seamless and uninterrupted play experience for casino visitors.”

The latter reference was a “TITO Voucher,” which is typically issued by electronic gaming machines when players make cash payments for game credits.

CPI said its easyTracks Web software is a “strong companion to SC Advance” and allows casino operators to streamline operations, efficiently manage cash losses, monitor slot machine performance and remotely track machine analytics.

Bill Murphy, CPI’s vice president of Asia-Pacific, said in the announcement: “By installing 550 SC Advanced Note validators with EasyTracks Web, [Mohegan] Inspire Casino will be able to increase operational efficiency while providing a global gaming experience for our customers.”

Yik Kah Fai, Head of Slot Operations at Mohegan Inspire, was quoted as saying that the adoption of SC Advance and Easyrax Web products “ignores our commitment to delivering an exceptional and technologically advanced gaming experience to our customers.”
