Jung Kwan-jang showed a different face.

After taking the first and second sets, Heungkuk Life thought they would easily take the third set, but Jung Kwan-jang fought back. After Park Eun-jin and Mega’s blocking, Jung scored back-to-back points, and Lee Sun-woo’s service ace made it 22-21.

Her momentum increased and she won 25-7 to take the match to a fifth set.

In the fifth set, both teams continued to play a seesaw game, exchanging points. Heungkuk Life took a 14-13 lead after a Jia error. However, a successful attack by Mega brought the game back to deuce.

Jung Kwan-jang and Jia scored back-to-back points to take the win.

Coach Ko Hee-jin also looked at Mega with pride as she high-fived her.

Mega, who scored 31 points to lead her team to victory, said, “We were able to win because we never gave up until the end.

Heungkuk Life coach Abondanza also praised Mega, saying, “I think she will do well in the future.”

After the thrilling come-from-behind win against Heungkuk Life, Jung Kwan-jang will try to extend their winning streak against Hyundai E&C in Daejeon on the 29th.
