Figure Ice Dance Lim Hae-na and Quan Ye, 7th Place at Four Continents Championships

Breaking personal best score in free dance

The pair of Lim Hae-na and Quan Ye (general competition) ranked 7th in the ice dance free dance at the International Skating Union (ISU) Figure Skating Four Continents Championships.

Lim Hae-na and Quan Ye received a technical score (TES) of 64.79 points, artistic score (PCS) of 49.08 points,

and a total of 113.87 points in the ice dance free dance competition held in Shanghai, China on the 4th. 파워볼

Lim Hae-na and Quan Ye broke their free dance personal best score (113.34 points) by 0.3 points at the 2023 CS Warsaw Cup,

a challenger level competition last November.

The team of Lim Hae-na and Quan Ye, who recorded a final total score of 182.78 points,

including 68.91 points from the rhythm dance, ranked 7th out of 16 teams.

First place went to Canada’s Piper Gilles and Paul Foriei, who scored 214.36 points.

Lin Hae-na and Quan Ye started off well by completing the first task, a straight line lift,

in which a male lifter wraps around a female athlete, at level 4.

In the one foot turn step sequence that followed,

Lin Hae Na received level 3 and Quan Ye received level 2, and in the synchronized twizzle,

where each other rotated at regular intervals, they showed off perfect chemistry and received level 4.

In the diagonal step sequence that utilizes the entire silver board,

Lin Haena received level 2 and Quan Ye received level 1, but there were curve lifts (level 4),

dance spins where they held each other and rotated (level 3),

and rotational lifts where Quan Ye rotated while holding Lin Haena.

(Level 4) was processed reliably and the level of completeness was raised.

This season, Lin Haena and Quan Ye performed the choreographic hydroblading movement,

which involves lowering the body and sliding across the ice with choreographic elements,

and then performed the choreographic character step sequence and choreographic dance lift without mistakes.

Lim Hae-na and Quan Ye rewrote their personal best record by earning points of performance (GOE) in all components presented on this day.
